Frequently Asked Questions
If you can't find what you're looking for here, please leave us a message on our Contact Page.
We will get back to your query as soon as we can.
For our Metro Manila customers, please check your email for your delivery schedule. We send this upon confirming your payment.
Sheila prepares all packages ahead of time, however, since we have no staff to help us out because of the pandemic… things are a bit stretched to the limit.
On the day of your shipping date, kindly expect a text/call from a rider (he may have questions regarding your delivery address). No set time as rider will be handling multiple deliveries that day. You already paid for shipping, so no need to pay rider.
If you would like to change the schedule above to a later date / change address / change mobile number, please let us know at least 24 hours before your shipping date. As mentioned above, we check, prepare and wrap each package carefully and twenty packages a day takes a lot of time.
In case we are unable to make a booking for various reasons (i.e. no riders, bad weather conditions, etc) we will definitely prioritize your package for shipping the following day. And of course, let you know of the changes.
If a rider delivers to your address on your shipping date and nobody is there to receive, then we may have to request re-delivery fee payment from you and we will schedule another shipping date. To avoid this, kindly make sure there is someone to receive at your address on the day of your shipping schedule.
No rush orders. 🙏 We are still living in a pandemic, and our number one priority is health and safety. We ship maximum of 20 packages per day. You get a shipping slot after you pay. Due to the volume of orders, slots are filled fast. We would like to operate in a fair manner, so first to pay, first to get a slot.
Also, all orders are processed through the website. Before you click that "I agree.. to FAQs." Kindly read the FAQ. It means you have read and understood. We would like to be transparent while also managing your expectations especially on deliveries.
We are trying our very best to fulfill orders as fast as we can while still prioritizing health and safety. And we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these challenging times!
Thank you for your support! Thank you for choosing LOCAL.

10. What is Purse For Sewers?
It is an initiative to help sustain the livelihood of our salesgirls and partner sewers, after our physical stores were abruptly closed in March due to the pandemic. Our goal is to save the incomes of 13 people and their families and help give them some financial stability in these extraordinarily difficult times.
Those who joined this initiative by purchasing a P500 Voucher may exchange it for Fifteen (15) Purses (valued at P750). The purses are all cut, assembled and sewn locally. Most of them are made from fabric scraps that we recycle to minimize the waste in our production process.
Voucher purchases ended last May 2020. Each Voucher will be for one time use only, non-transferable, and exclusive of shipping fees. All Vouchers have no expiry date and may be redeemed for online orders only.
We would like to reiterate that we are not making any profit from this initiative. Through our years in the retail business, we have managed to weather all kinds of ups and downs. But this pandemic is something else. It is unprecedented. And we worry that our salesgirls and sewers, along with thousands of other workers in Manila, will be hit hard the most. We would like to believe that we are fair employers and that during times of need, maaasahan nila kami at kayo.
To those who joined #PurseForSewers, maraming salamat! ♡
11. I already bought a Purse for Sewers voucher. Can I claim my purses already?
Thank you so much for your support!
Update as of July 13, 2020
The second batch of purses are expected to be finished and posted by end of July. If you would like to redeem non-purse Fab Manila items, kindly email us at so we can send you the coupon code for this. Thank you!
Update as of June 6, 2020
We have already made available for redemption the first batch of purses. The voucher code has been emailed to individual voucher holders. The second batch of purses is already in production and we hope to release it by mid-July 2020.
Right now, our partner sewers in Cainta, Rizal are still in the process of making 6,000+ purses. Unfortunately, Rizal is still on total lockdown at the moment which means non-essential goods cannot pass through checkpoints. It is not possible yet to send them more fabrics to finish all 6,000+ purses.
It was a blessing in disguise that, prior to the lockdown, we sent them materials for production. This has made all the difference because during quarantine, they were able to continue to sew and make a living. Because you purchased a voucher, you helped make this transition to a new normal possible. As of May 8, 2020 they have already finished about 3,200 purses. We need to send them additional fabric so they can finish more.
The problem is we do not know when the Rizal lockdown will be lifted. But rest assured that we are doing all that we can to finish the purses as soon as possible. Kindly give us a month after Rizal lockdown is lifted so the sewers can finish cutting and sewing fabrics. The next step is attaching of snap buttons and taking photos for posting online. You see, for such a small product, it literally takes a village from start to finish.
We hope you understand and we thank you immensely for your generosity and patience! We would like to be fully transparent so photos/videos will be regularly posted in our social media accounts. Follow us on Instagram (Instagram.com/fabmanila) and Facebook (Facebook.com/Fabmanilashop) so you can get first dibs once the purses are posted online!
12. Any care instructions for Fab Manila items that I should know about?
Wipe with clean cloth and water. We do not recommend spraying alcohol or other harsh chemicals directly on the leather. Best to store in a cool, dry place.
Fabric Wallets, Pouches, Bags
Spot wash with mild soap or detergent. Some of our products (like tissue kits, cam sleeves, luggage organizers) may be machine-washed. We take utmost care in choosing the right fabrics, however please note that our fabrics are purchased in BULK from trusted suppliers and are not tested individually by us, for color fastness, fading or bleeding.
If you are washing a product for the first time, we recommend that you wash it in a separate basin first before including it in the washing machine with your other clothing. Fab Manila will not be liable for any washing accidents. 😊
Boxes and Clipboards
Use a brush with soft bristles to dust once in a while. You may spot clean with a damp cloth. As these are made with paper and board materials, we do not recommend cleaning them under running water nor wiping with soaking wet cloth.
Wash thoroughly with mild soap or detergent BEFORE the first use and after EVERY use. Hang dry.
